What is the processing mode suitable for TPU materials?

The most suitable processing method for TPU is screw injection molding machine. The three-stage screw produces a very good plasticized melt with a single flight of normal length. If a higher plasticizing capacity (production volume) is required, a longer screw can be used.

What carrier masterbatch is used for TPU material

If it is difficult to dye flame retardant TPE, it is recommended to use flame retardant TPE as a carrier for masterbatch. In extruded cables, parallel dark stripes may be encountered, that is, the colorant is not dispersed. Therefore, it is not recommended to use colorants for flame retardant elastomers. It is recommended to directly customize the required color or masterbatch.

Solutions to TPU material injection molding process problems

Setting the temperature is an important step in the molding of TPU materials. If the melting temperature is too low, the TPU material may not be completely melted and cannot flow. If the melting temperature is too high, the plastic may crack, especially for POM and PVC trees.
