BT Extrusion TPEE is a block copolymer containing polyester hard segments and polyether soft segments; where the polyether soft segments and uncrystallized polyester form an amorphous phase, while the crystallized polyester forms crystalline microdomains that act as physical crosslinking points. TPEE also possesses the elasticity of rubber and the strength of engineering plastics; the soft segments endow it with elasticity, making it rubber-like; the hard segments provide it with processing properties, making it plastic-like. Compared to rubber, it has better processing properties and a longer service life; compared to engineering plastics, it also has the characteristic of high strength, while being more flexible and having better dynamic mechanical properties.
The hardness range is 25D-78D, combining the elasticity of rubber with the strength of engineering plastics.
