TPE/TPR elastomer plastics have been widely used in industries that come into contact with food, such as baby products, kitchenware, toys, home furnishings, and electronics, due to their unique material properties. As a plastic material for food contact, the most important aspect is its environmental safety. With the increasing demands for food safety standards in the European and American markets, new standards for TPE/TPR material food safety are being introduced. More and more foreign customers require their materials to pass the latest EU's 10-2011 and FDA certifications. However, most TPE raw material manufacturers in the industry currently cannot meet these two standards, with only a few foreign manufacturers being able to do so. This means high unit prices and long delivery cycles for domestic customers. The top domestic manufacturer, xinzhongrun Plastics Company, launched the SP series food-grade TPE in 2012, which meets the requirements of the 10-2011 and FDA tests.
High food safety grade: it can pass the latest 10-2011 standard tests.
Wide range of hardness: it can reach as low as 60A (the current lowest hardness abroad).
Base color is translucent or natural, easy to dye without color migration.
Good anti-contamination properties (not prone to discoloration or dirtiness), and good antibacterial performance.
Comfortable hand feel, resistant to scratching. It can be rubberized with materials such as PP/PE.
