TPE/TPR-coated ABS/PP materials can provide products with a soft and comfortable touch, good shock resistance, increased anti-slip properties, and the environmental friendliness of TPE material itself (non-toxic, halogen-free, free of carcinogens such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons). There are various processing methods for TPE, including injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, and casting. This material also has good resilience and flexibility, and the application prospects of TPE materials will be even broader. The hardness of TPE/TPR-coated ABS/PP materials generally ranges from 30 to 80 degrees. When TPE is overmolded onto the surface of ABS/PP in a secondary injection process, it is recommended to use an injection molding temperature of 180~220 degrees. The material formulation, processing equipment, and mold design all affect the selection of an appropriate injection molding temperature. With the rapid development of the thermoplastic elastomer industry and the continuous improvement of consumer demands, the applications of TPE/TPR-coated ABS/PP materials in secondary injection molding are becoming increasingly widespread and expanding into various fields such as medical devices, electronic accessories, sports equipment, automotive parts, daily products, hardware tools, etc.

TPE-coated ABS/PC material is based on thermoplastic styrene-butadiene rubber, with its main components being SEBS + white oil + TPU. It can be designed to meet the requirements of customers for coating materials ranging from 25A to 85A.
